Prague Pride Festival 2026
About This Event
Prague Pride, Central Europe's biggest LGBTQ+ festival, takes over the Czech capital for a week every July. Hundreds of thousands show up for the parade, which winds through the Old Town and Wenceslas Square, past cobblestone squares and Gothic spires.
The Czech Republic is one of Central Europe's more progressive countries on LGBTQ+ rights, and Pride shows it. The festival has money behind it, draws big crowds, and gets more international every year. You'll find concerts in Letná Park, film screenings, art shows, and the Pride Village in Holešovice — a huge outdoor party zone that runs all week.

Practical Tips
Time the parade Saturday
The parade always lands on the second Saturday of August, so plan Prague around the 8th and treat the weekdays as low-key programme days.
Pick up a rainbow ribbon
Buy a duhová stužka from Prague Pride volunteers — it funds the association's year-round counselling and support work.
