Sauna Apollon ⚠ Unverified Own this place?

Located at the very heart of the city, in a hidden corner of a shopping area, the venue hasn't changed much since 11 years ago, when I was there last. Entrance fee costs CZK500. While the whole Prague has become contactless, only cash is accepted here, even for consumption. Bring your own flip-flips, non is provided. For a new towel you must pay CZK40. On the ground floor one finds the lockers, toilets, showers, steam sauna, dry sauna and a maze, as well as the bar. The cabins and a video salon can be found down the stairs. Everything is neat and uncomplicated, but too dark, one can barely see faces. For those after a younger audience, the high price (around 25 euros) is a true deterrent. Being Prague often packed with tourists, it is likely that most of the clients on the day you visit are not local.

Absolutely decent place. I really was surprised after reading some of the reviews. It's 450 ck cash (why not if its their business and thats what they want) if they didn't operate at all you would moan that there isn't a sauna! Entry was as stated, drinks very reasonable and friendly and busy. Clean enough. Really don't know what more you would all expect. Thanks guy's. If you want to go to a sauna go here.

We saw online that entry was 300 crowns but when we got there it was actually 450. They do not accept cards, which is not only very inconvenient, it also makes it more expensive. The nearest cash machine had huge charges but we saved £6 by walking to a further one. It was alot smaller than we were expecting, and there wasnt even a hot tub, so definitely not worth the money. We went on a sunday and it was very quiet, just a couple of young timewasters and a handful of old men. There was no water fountain and when we asked for tap water we were told we would have to buy a mineral water!
