Prague has gay cruising, both indoors and out. The indoor spots are more reliable and a better deal than anything similar in other European cities. For outdoor cruising, the main parks are Stromovka and Letna. Both are in the city and you don't need a car to get there.

Stromovka Park

Stromovka is a big park in Holesovice, about 15 minutes by tram from Old Town. It's been known for gay cruising for years, mostly in the woods away from the main paths. During the day, it's full of joggers, cyclists, and families. Cruising happens more in the quieter, wooded parts, especially late afternoon and evening.

The park is flat and easy to reach by public transport. Trams stop nearby, and it's a walkable distance from Vinohrady. Just remember it's a public space with all kinds of people; be discreet. The areas near the main paths are busy all day.

Letna Park

Letna Park sits on a plateau above the river, between Letna and Holesovice. It's known for gay cruising, particularly in the wooded areas on its south and west sides. The park has good city views and locals use it all day. Cruising is concentrated in the less-trafficked wooded sections.

Letna is walkable from Vinohrady, just across the river. You can also get there by tram. Like Stromovka, it's a public space, so discretion is key.

Indoor venues

Prague's gay saunas are the more structured indoor option, and they're good value. Some have dedicated darkrooms or cruising areas alongside the saunas. These are more predictable and private than outdoor spots, and the prices are low for Europe.

Practical notes

For outdoor spots: these are public parks. Use common sense about when and where you go. Enforcement varies; know your surroundings. For indoor venues: check rules about phones and what facilities are available at each place. For more on Prague, see the Gay Prague Guide or the saunas guide.
