Pier 5 Hotel

Nightmare. Checked in today. There were already earplugs in the room. It's 2:44 a.m. and I haven't slept three hours since going to bed at 10:30 p.m. The room is so hot, no air conditioning. The noise level is terrible. No AirPods, no earplugs. Whether it's the noise from the street or doors slamming in the hallway, or the stomping from the second floor. Not even my apartment at home is as noisy as this hotel. It doesn't even remotely deserve four stars. Neither in terms of amenities nor comfort. I don't understand how they can't invest in soundproofing, etc., at these room prices. No hotel can be held responsible for annoying guests who can't keep their mouths shut in the hallway at night. But then they should design the building to dampen the noise. That's the least I expect.

No free parking. No dinner. Breakfast is an additional cost.

The hotel is ok, but some of the guests park so that they almost take up 2 spaces

Perfect for the stay and the lobby area is Instagram worthy its really very aesthetic with round table bar with beautiful Bar attendent and Hotel Staff ... Denmark I love you and thank you pier 5 for the cozy stay

13 Euro for a 0.33 litre, non alcoholic beer. What a Rip off. The nice, newly renovated bar was unfortunately extremely smelly (deep frier smell from the kitchen). No privacy curtains in the room - you can have it completely dark, or have the people on the sidewalk watch into your room. Limited and expensive parking, good location at the river in the city center.

Fantastic! My family of six and I were on our way to Norway and we stopped in Aalborg. The hotel is great: an adjoining family room with bunk beds, clean, spacious, stylish, and with everything you need. Great location for easy access to the city, parking right outside, and a wonderful breakfast in a lovely setting. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. We were thrilled and would love to come back!
