Exceptional B&B. Ultra-clean, cozy, big living room, high-quality beds and bed linen, cleaning of bathroom every day and new towels. Less than 10 minutes walk to city center

What a nice surprise. Immeculate room, the bathroom is simply stunning an you get your own private living room downstairs. It's big, with a seperate dining room area, a big TV with two lounge chairs (including apple TV) and a nespresso coffee machine. The room upstairs also features a smaller TV and Nespresso machine. Comfy beds. After a long day hike it was great to relax in the evening and use the living room too. We chose to have breakfast and this was provided with fresh bread from the bakery, great selection of meat, cheese, eggs, you name it. The owners are very friendly. I simply can't fault the place and have recommended this to my parents as they are planning a tirp through Denmark soon.

Hi everyone, It was my first time in Silkeborg, and it was great. I stopped in a lovely B&B, The Old Chestnut Tree. The place was fantastic and spotless, and my room was huge and light, with a big living room and a wonderful garden. I did not have breakfast, but I believe it will be delicious. It could not be another way. The owner is a french lady, she was very friendly, and the house is decorated in good taste. I had terrific few days of relaxation and tranquillity. I look forward to coming back for sure and definitely will choose the same place to stay. Angella
