Danhostel Kjellerup
Visitors frequently praise the clean communal areas, friendly and helpful staff, and well-maintained facilities, with some noting spacious rooms and good breakfast. However, a common complaint is that the hostel is considered expensive for what it offers, with some finding it basic and isolated from town.

We arrived without an access code and found ourselves locked out. The accommodation was unreachable by phone or email. For the price we paid, this was unacceptable treatment.
Cozy and nice cabins
A quiet and peaceful place to stay with room for four+ in each cabin. Located 15 km from Silkeborg and Dollerup Bakker.
It's a really cozy place, and there's what you need for an overnight stay, there's even a box under the bed where you can borrow bed linen and towels for a fee if you've forgotten them, there's coffee mugs, toilet paper, and soap. So it's really a good place to stay for cheap money. In addition, the first of the barrels has a kitchen, with 2 of everything so you can have 2 families cooking at the same time. If we're going to the area again, it's clear we'll be sleeping here again👌🏻
