Nice B&B. My room was on the second floor and was easily accessible with the beautiful staircase. It was very warm, but the room could be cooled fine down with an open window and a fan. The room, bathroom and the small kitchenette were clean and cosy furnished. Should park the car in a very narrow place but got super instructions by the landlord so it went well. Yes, there's a little noise in the evening, as there are two small restaurants that have the same courtyard, but it didn't bother me. If the window hadn't been opened, I might not have heard anything. The location is super and close to the center without feeling a part of the noise of the city.
Simple but clean B&B. Shower, toilet and bathroom in the corridor, 7 simply furnished rooms are family run. Self-service breakfast in the corridor. Public underground parking opposite, access by larger car directly in front of the house not possible. 2 parking spaces in front of the house (for small cars) can be rented in advance.
A small gem - centrally located, as in the middle of the center. Nice clean, cosy room and quiet because of the farm environment. Easy check in and shoe boxes inside the door. Free parking for smaller cars in the yard. There is a little listen, but other guests were quite calm, so no problem.
Fairly large apartment located on the ground floor with good kitchen facilities (well equipped). Very good for 3 people. Older house but very clean. Floor craks in some areas. Keys system worked fine. Nice gesture From the owner: 3 small coke bottles and 3 chips. well appreciated. Bathroom is in the basement with a sharp angle staircase. Not easy to handle when you need to go in the middle of the night. Parking is not private but is on the street in a residential quiet area
Spent 1 night here as a family of 5 occupying 2 rooms. Found it very comfortable, clean and well maintained; photos don’t really do it justice. Excellent breakfast. Good value. Very well located. Within walking distance of all Odense sights. Would come again. Excellent communication from hosts.
I stayed in Dortes cozy yellow town house for two nights with my young daughters. It is well situated. It took us 10 minutes to walk from the train station and another 10-15 minutes to walk to Fyrtøjet and HC Andersens house at the other end of the city centre. The pedestrian street starts right outside the house, and small cozy restaurants are abundant in the area. The room, kitchen and bath rooms were all impeccably clean and the rooms comfortable and airy. Dorte was en excellent host - friendly, helpful and flexible - and we would try much recommend a stay here to others.
Very nice B&B. The position is perfect, in the city center of Odense, but not a pedestrian one, so that if you are arriving by car you won't have any problem (the B&B has also a couple of private parking places). It is also close to some nice restaurants and pubs. The hotel is ran by a danish couple, which lives on the first floor of the building (the B&B is on the 2nd and 3rd floor) and they are very nice with their guests. There is a small kitchen corner and you can use the fridge, the cutlery, microwaves, etc, plus there is some food as fruits and teas that you can take. For additional 50kr/person you can have breakfast (eggs, jams, bread, coffee). It is just a pity that you will have to take breakfast in your room, as there aren't any tables nor chairs in the common area (very small). The rooms are very nice and well/simply decorated, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is shared: one bathroom each two rooms, but we almost never found them busy, so it isn't annoying at all. The quality/price ratio is really good (~500kr/night in a double room over the Easter period). A few remarks: I noticed that the bathroom is not cleaned up every day, while it should be. On the second day of our stay there was still a finished toilet paper tube from the previous day and the floor wasn't properly clean... I might be wrong, but an improvement it this way might be useful. The same for the bedroom. As we had to eat in the private room, I would have appreciate to see it cleaned up. Also, we left our towels in the bathroom and someone took them, as they disappeared and appeared again later on, used. Perhaps the B&B instructions should be explained more clearly to all guests. Last negative point: the noise. As there are a shared kitchen corner and two bathrooms very very close to the rooms, some noises woke me up in the morning for both the two days I spent in the B&B. Also, the wooden stairs don't help in that sense. Definitely I would suggest this B&B, even if some smaller things might be still improved :-) Summarizing: - good: very nice solution, good quality/price ratio, comfortable, nice hosts, good breakfast - less good: noises, something in the cleaning can be improved
The room seemed cozy unless someone used the bathroom. The room 3 is just next to the WC and waken up whenever someone used the bathroom. Even people started taking shower before 6am!!! Cannot sleep well here.
This place was one of the nicest and cleanest small places I've ever stayed in. It was extremely clean, the beds comfortable, location within a block or two of everything needed. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked very well. There were snacks available as part of the packages and breakfast if desired for a price. There were plenty of bathrooms with no conflict.
A friend and I stayed here, each in our own room. The rooms are light and bright and cleverly designed to provide everything you need. Everything is pristine, including the two bathrooms. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. The station and the pedestrianised part of Odense are both a very short walk away. Dorthe was charming. Highly recommended.
