Unfortunately, we were quite unhappy with our overall experience here. First, the waiter told us that we had taken the menu ourselves. We were seated outside, and a staff member had actually brought the menu to us, so I’m not sure why this was mentioned. We ordered a salad and a beef dish to share among three of us, as we had just finished eating the famous pancakes a few blocks away and weren’t very hungry. The waiter made a sarcastic comment about our order, which made us feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. After that comment, we decided to leave. We went to Controvento instead, and the experience was completely different. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. When we asked if we could share two dishes, the waitress said, “Of course,” explaining that the portions were generous. The white sea bass and pasta were both delicious and definitely worth trying. Unfortunately, the service here really affected our experience, so we would not return.

The server was friendly and very cheerful, which made the atmosphere even better. The food was also generally delicious and suited the Korean palate well.

We went to celebrate with my boyfriend. The place is welcoming, and upon arrival, we were served well. We ordered an appetizer to share and one main course each, along with wine and water. When the appetizer arrived, we realized we hadn't told the waiter we wanted to share it, so we asked for a plate. After a few minutes of waiting and a possible misunderstanding, the waiter placed the small plate on the table next to my boyfriend's in front of him. The gesture, given the manner in which it was performed, struck us as very rude and annoyed, and furthermore, having seen the service at the adjacent tables, we realized this attitude was intended for us. So, despite the very good food, the evening was affected by this uncomfortable situation. We skipped dessert and left as quickly as possible. We went elsewhere to end the evening for a better ending.

Avoid at all costs. Very small portions, long wait times.
