About this place Koveron Kirppis & Majatalo

Koveron Kirppis & Majatalo combines a flea market with a small guesthouse in Kovero, a village in rural North Karelia southeast of Joensuu. It is a plain, offbeat countryside stop, useful on a road trip through eastern Finland, and nothing like a city hotel. It is a mainstream place, listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. It rates 4.6 on Google from about 45 reviews. You will need a car, and it is worth calling ahead (040 5780561) to check that rooms are open, especially outside summer.
