Forenom Hostel Jyväskylä

Very clean and functional property. I stayed for 6 days and since my budget was a bit tight for accommodation, this property worked really well. I think the price-quality ratio would be excellent.

Hi, we stayed 1 night in the center of Jyväskylä and the experience was pretty good, you can't expect any luxury for this price in Finland. You should trust your own equipment. The equipment in the mini-hut was really nice: dishes, clean sheets and towels. The bed was clean. Otherwise, the floor and windowsill of the room were dusty and there was a big coffee stain on the mattress, you can cover it with a sheet. The kitchen and bathroom were ok, there should be some towels in the kitchen.

I haven't been to a hotel, but I wouldn't complain about a micro room at all if the price/size ratio was right. A micro room would be suitable for me. Yes, you can sleep just as well in it as in a larger room. And I don't go to Jyväskylä to crawl in a hotel room, but to explore the city and meet friends. The first time I go to Jyväskylä, I'll immediately book a micro room if the price matches the size of the room.👍

An excellent hostel in the center of Jyväskylä. The earplugs offered as a welcome did raise doubts about the quality of sleep for the coming nights, but it was peaceful for three nights, even though our stay was on the weekend. Only the beeping of loud code locks and the heavy slamming of doors echoed throughout the hostel floor. The hostel was really poorly cleaned. The room was dusty and the communal toilets were apparently not cleaned at all during our entire stay, as there were paper towels on the floors and in the corners and even one man's (apparently dirty) underwear. The cleaner came every day, but apparently he has not been offered enough working hours to have time to clean the place properly and completely. The hand faucet of one of the toilets fell on the floor when he used the sink. The refrigerator in our room was buzzing loudly on its last few minutes. Judging by the layer of ice in the freezer section, it had not been defrosted for a while.
