Alfred Kitchen & Bar

We had a wonderful experience at Alfred Kitchen & Bar this evening. Everything was exceptional from start to finish. The food was truly of Michelin-star quality. The beef tartare was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had: beautifully seasoned, with wild garlic, pickled mustard seeds, flavorful beef, and Comté cheese, creating a perfectly balanced dish. The veal was simply divine. The cooking was flawless, with a wonderful BBQ flavor, accompanied by outstanding sauces and thoughtfully prepared condiments. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The wine recommendations and pairings were excellent and elevated the entire meal. A special mention also goes to the cardamom dessert, perfectly matched with a sweet dessert wine. We were genuinely impressed by both the cuisine and the service. Thank you for such a memorable evening!

We couldn't get a table for dinner on short notice, but were able to easily make a reservation for the next day. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive; they were already waiting for us punctually, recognized us immediately, and asked with genuine interest if we had eaten at another restaurant the previous evening. The waiter who attended to us was very friendly and attentive. We personally declined a detailed description of our meal, which he certainly could have provided. However, the menu already introduces all the dishes with charming little stories from Alfred. The cocktails, appetizers, main courses, and desserts were incredibly delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. Freshly baked bread with a wonderful crust and deliciously whipped butter is served free of charge beforehand. The menu selection is small, but there's something for everyone. The portions are rather modest, but we found them perfectly adequate and left satisfied. However, the restaurant is probably not suitable for those with a huge appetite. A visit is 100% worthwhile, and we definitely recommend Alfred's Kitchen.

Food was good taste but little bit small looking.But took salad also so become fuller.

Delicious lunch menu for 15 € with fresh salad buffet, main dish and coffee + cookie dessert! Highly recommend!

Nice bistro atmosphere. We had lunch which was just the right size portion. Really good in terms of taste. The service was also great at lunch.

Incredibly good food and a nice man who served us. The raw steak was of top quality and the perch was among the best we have eaten. Thank you, we will be back!

We went for dinner and our expectations were high. Nevertheless, all expectations were exceeded. From the starter to the dessert, everything was top notch. The flavors complemented each other and you could taste everything in the dish with every bite. Everything was topped off with very friendly service and a really pleasant setting.

The food was really good, but the portion sizes took minimalism to a whole new level. The waiter was nice, but I don't understand how it can take almost two hours to prepare a hundred gram meal.

Is it a bistro or is it Alfred? I don't know, but bold food paired with playful drinks is pretty much the focus of this place. Gentle and immediate service tops it all off.
