Lawns, trees, bushes, lake, ponds. Informal recreation area. Lille at play. Lots of benches, some toilets, near zoo
This is a small park across the river from the magnificent Vauban Citadelle and is really worth a visit. It has an attractive lake, a man made cave, a puppet theatre as well as memorials to local Charles de Gaulle and casualties of war shot by the nazis during the occupation. It is extremely well maintained and can, because it is quite small, be visited in under an hour. It would be a good place to have a picnic and is by the Bistrot Cantine across the river. It is around half an hour's walk from the city centre.
Green oasis connecting the Centre of Lille tot the Citadel island in the West. It does not have catering by itself but leads to the canal where you will find two nice bistros.
Located just out of the city centre the gardens make for a nice walk on a hot sticky day. Can be completed if you are walking to the zoo as on the route.
Nice green park with ponds just outside the city. Fills with all sorts of people, young and old, when the sun comes out playing various games, football and music.
we really liked this park with its small water stream and grassed areas .. it was lively and still relaxing .. people enjoy sitting and having a picnic on the grass
A very nice green open space near the citadel. The benches are in a variable state of repair, but there are plenty if nice flower displays. Overall, good - a pleasant spot to visit.
Near Old Lille and the zoo. A lovely walk with beautiful mature trees and a large pond. Includes a puppet theatre in the afternoon.
Lovely walk on a Saturday morning, whilst we visited the city. There are some cafes and also a large play areas for young children. Would certainly recommend if you wanted some quiet time from the hustle and bustle of the city
Nice and quite spacious park, not far from the city centre, and overlooking the Citadel. Great area for relaxed walk.
Enorm vast park.
A magnificent garden to see and revisit

These gardens are stunning. I had my wedding photos taken there and the results are gorgeous 😍
A beautiful and peaceful corner where you can relax with a good book or some good music
A lovely spot, a beautiful little green space in the middle of the city. You can take pleasant walks there, then go to the zoo or explore the Vauban fortifications – a pleasant time to be had with family or alone.
Beautiful and relaxing
Very pleasant park
