The reception staff were incredibly unpleasant and arrogant. There was no coffee machine in the rooms, and only one small bottle of water per room per stay. The service was terrible considering the price of the room. You can find many better hotels in Marseille for the same price, with a better location and far superior service. We certainly won't be returning.

Attention dog owners, here's a dog-friendly hotel at last! Beyond that, all the staff are absolutely lovely and helpful. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is incredibly varied and the products are delicious, and the dining area is very welcoming. I highly recommend it, and while I stayed at this hotel during a business trip, I would gladly return for a personal stay. 🙂

Overall, a mixed experience, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel given the price. A €100 deposit is required upon arrival. Regarding the room on the 6th floor, I didn't like the layout at all: a window that didn't open, a bed facing the wall, a poorly positioned television, and very peculiar decor (a matter of taste, of course). Several details also detracted from the comfort: a leaky shower, a toilet behind an inconvenient door, no conditioner in the shower, and a rather noisy hotel. For the price, I don't think it offers good value for money.

Having stayed at Mama hotels before, we thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at Mama Marseille. The staff are very friendly and helpful (they don't spend all their time chatting amongst themselves or on their phones like at Mama La Défense!). The hotel is very clean, a little out of the way, but that didn't detract from our stay at all. We would definitely love to come back!

Very disappointed by the brunch, much worse than in the past and more expensive! We had to wait a long time for clean glasses (the dishwashing schedule could be planned in advance for brunch), no hot water available for tea, and the pastries were very sweet and not very tasty. The decor is nice, but it's quite noisy. I won't be going back.

Really good hotel - very comfy beds, excellent shower, delightful staff (most of whom had good English), convenient location and decent, reasonably priced food. Downsides: ridiculously soft pillows and lighting that wasn't designed for putting makeup on.

I really enjoyed it. The setting and decor were nice. We went as a family in the early evening. No problems at all; it's a lively bar for the rest of the night. I found the servers very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, while my daughter and partner ordered calamari and found it overcooked. I had the pork pampas, which was excellent!

Simple and comfortable room without a balcony. Generous buffet breakfast. The hotel requires a €50 deposit per person per night, charged to the credit card. Having booked two double rooms for three nights, a total of €600 was blocked on the card. The photo of the terrace is misleading; it's actually a patio tucked away between the walls of the buildings.
