Hôtel Terminus

Very unpleasant staff, hair and mold in the bathroom, staff shouting in the corridors from 9:50 am onwards, even if you have booked several nights you will not be entitled to rest, it is like this every morning, in Nantes there are much better and much cheaper options, very very disappointed especially by the lack of respect and this oppressive atmosphere created by the staff.

Aside from the gentleman at reception who was cleaning when I arrived, everything else was a disaster. The elevator is so bad you have to forget about taking two people up. Otherwise, you'll be stuck forever. The bathroom bin was always overflowing. The towels were oily and supposedly clean, but they weren't. There were bedbugs in the bed, in case you wanted a blanket. And forget about it, since it was neatly tucked away in the closet. You should have left the room undisturbed. The hallway light never turned off. In short, I had to pay almost €70 for one night, and it was definitely not worth it. In any case, it was an experience I will never repeat. The location was nice, but I will never return.

One of the male receptionists behaved strangely, making inappropriate remarks. The person in question will undoubtedly recognize themselves... The rooms are outdated, with foul odors in the stairwell and musty in the room. The shower screen is disgusting, the bedding is mediocre, and the room is noisy because of the tram near the train station, day and night. Overall, the service is poor.

Aside from the hotel's location, which is a real plus, and the friendliness of the staff, everything else leaves much to be desired. The price is unbeatable for the area, but that shouldn't be an excuse for neglecting cleanliness! When I settled into my room, there were three hairs in the sink of my tiny bathroom...not very appetizing! There's rust on the shower head and the drain cover. The room has been left untouched for years. The curtains are stained, the lampshades are bent, the wallpaper is torn, the bathroom tiles are broken, the ceiling...details that make the room truly dismal. In short, it's functional, but that's where the positives end.

I went there several years ago for one night, but I wasn't disappointed. This time it's for two days and it's close to the train station, so I have fond memories of it.

It's a shame to be so unprofessional. I just read a post from a customer who was refused a refund even though he explained he'd gone to the wrong place, confusing a town in the Côtes-d'Armor department (22) with one in the Loire-Atlantique department (44) that has the same name. I find this very poor, and I won't be recommending your establishment anytime soon.

nice budget option

I had booked for 4 nights. I was supposed to arrive on Friday. In the end, I called to reschedule my arrival for Saturday, but they refused. I cancelled my non-refundable reservation and lost €257. The telephone service was nonexistent, not even a gesture of goodwill. Avoid this hotel and Booking.com too.

The hotel is well located, close to the train station and tram. However, the rooms are dirty. The cleaning is sloppy: stains on the walls, a lot of hair/fur/dust in the drawers that have clearly never been cleaned, and other guests' belongings left in the drawers (in our case, we found a sex toy). There's only one electrical outlet in the entire room. The mattress is very hard and uncomfortable. Finally, the staff have a peculiar way of interacting with people. They asked us to leave our room key at reception if we were leaving the hotel so we could pick it up upon our return (?). They can be very friendly and courteous, or on the contrary, quite strange (the man stared at us with dark looks, stopping everything he was doing the whole time we were waiting for the elevator; we didn't feel safe at all, it was like something out of a horror movie). In short: this hotel is suitable for a quick stopover, but given the price (€70/night), one expects more cleanliness, comfort, and security.

I stayed here only one night but the room was clean and small. The shower was ok, but small. The staff was terrific and very friendly. They were so nice and accommodating. The best thing about this hotel is the location, being right across from the train station. For what I paid and the location it was terrific value for my 1 night in Nantes.
