About this place Key West Sauna

Key West Sauna was completely redesigned and rebuilt in 2025, reopening with four floors, over 400 lockers, a swimming pool, hammam, gym equipment, and private cabins alongside the full darkroom and bar facilities expected of a major Paris sauna. The renovation brought it up to a standard that rivals IDM for the first time, and the location on Rue La Fayette — a short walk from both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est — makes it particularly convenient for travelers arriving by Eurostar from London, Thalys from Amsterdam or Brussels, or TGV from elsewhere in France. The crowd here is somewhat different from the Marais saunas: more local, more neighborhood regulars, slightly older average age. Entry is approximately €15-21.

A pleasant and rather discreet sauna, close to the train station. It has been renovated in the basement. During the week, the clientele is discreet, from all backgrounds but open-minded.

I was very disappointed with this sauna. The place is dirty, but what's most shocking is the reception. The person was extremely unpleasant, even aggressive, when asked a simple question about a towel. I strongly advise against going there; it was a very unpleasant experience.

Let's be clear, it's normal here in Paris; there's a lot of community spirit. I see it everywhere I go. The staff can be friendly because they have to project a good image. But the customers aren't. Voilà la vérité.

Right now, by far, this place is the best sauna in Paris for me, even if it's not as big as other, much busier establishments with a clientele that's a bit pretentious and not as straightforward. The welcome is always very pleasant, with a friendly greeting and a smile; the premises are well-maintained and cleanliness is a priority, even if we, the customers, don't always help keep it spotless. Regular cleaning is done, except perhaps in the hammam (my favorite room...). I think I go there for the unique hammam experience, which is unlike anything else in this place. On Sunday afternoons, this small space is packed... I can't say more without crossing the line into indecency. All I know is that in these times of severe repression of relationships between men on the African continent, it's gratifying to know that the majority of men, of African descent, can enjoy themselves freely on Sundays without fear of judgment. Thank you to the owners of this beautiful sauna for providing access to such a high-quality establishment with excellent amenities. A place to visit again and again.

When you're white, you obviously don't belong there. I had a very lonely time… Besides, advocating for consent is all well and good, but saying no politely is better… I thought I saw signs in a guy's eyes, I approached him, and… he pushed me away and hit me, seriously??? Come on, calm down… This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

I went a few times, lots of curious straight guys, but I loved the caresses, the shyness of the others, the jacuzzi was a bit cold but I was warm so it felt good 😊😊👍

The Key West has changed for the better: I hadn't been back for several years. I went on a Sunday afternoon. The staff at reception are very friendly and funny. 🤭 They've made an effort with the decor, and it's much appreciated. The cabins are clean. The clientele is predominantly Black, of all ages, and quite well-mannered. There's plenty to enjoy. 😈👌🏾 One small drawback: the shower water sometimes suddenly turns cold (that's why I'm taking off a star). But otherwise, go for it, it's worth it, especially if you like handsome Black men. 🌴😍
