HOTEL SKI D’OR

Beautiful, comfortable room with a lovely panoramic view of the slopes. Friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was basic and lacked charm and local/mountain products. Makes me want to return for a longer stay.

Stayed in a twin room. Very spacious and clean. Excellent Views of the mountain/pistes from the room. Practically ski in ski out. Just cross the road and ski down to the lifts. Ski room has individual ski locks for each room and boot warmer rack. Would choose again.

Basic but clean hotel rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast is very simple for a 3* hotel with no options to take snacks for the day from the (basic) buffet. There is a bar area but it is only open from 1700/1900 - it is literally closed (doors locked) outside these times, so there is nowhere to chill out if you come off the slopes early. The location of the hotel has pros and cons.. The main advantage is that it is virtually ski-in-ski-out. The main disadvantage is that the hotel is opposite a club on the main Val Claret square and the bedroom windows are very thin. We didn’t have a single good night sleep as a result of rowdy people leaving the club though until 0400/0500 hrs. If the hotel can’t guarantee you a room facing away from the street, stay somewhere else.

Excellent stay here, couldn’t be closer to the slopes or restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, cosy room with comfy bed. Breakfast with a view was lovely. As we were checking out at 7am they provided us with a little breakfast bag for our travels home which was a really nice touch. Also lockers for skis and heated racks to dry boots. Great hotel, perfectly located right in front of the slopes. The receptionists were very friendly and gave great advice about skiing and nearby restaurants. The rooms were very large and comfortable. Deserves more than 3 stars.

Great team at reception, hotel in a fantastic location in Tignes Val Claret. Spotless room, breakfast was a shame about the quality of the jam. Highly recommended.

The young staff are incredibly kind and naturally welcoming. A very warm reception. The rooms are bright and airy. Peaceful and peaceful.

Everything you’d need in a ski hotel!

Lovely little hotel in an ideal location for skiing - walk across the road and you're on the slopes. Breakfast was simple but offered everything you'd need - coffee, tea, bacon, eggs, juice, toast, fruit, yoghurt etc. The shower was great too - really warm and great pressure. If I were to be picky, they could have better WiFi in the rooms.

Great hotel. Location could not be better. For pistes. Lifts. Cafes. Shops. Spacious, stylish rooms. Plenty of breakfast. Victor, Arthur and Camille could not have been more helpful.

Great hotel, clean spacious rooms with shower and bath. The staff really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was perfect. The view from the restaurant is stunning. I really enjoyed my stay and will return.
