Things will go wrong in kink. Miscommunication, emotional overwhelm, consent slips, physical mishaps, or simply mismatched expectations — ruptures are a real risk in when working with intensity, vulnerability, and power exchange.
This workshop focuses on what happens after the moment shit hits the fan.
We’ll explore how to recognize rupture as it’s happening, how to pause without escalating harm, and how to repair connection in ways that build trust rather than erode it. Drawing on principles from restorative and transformative justice, we’ll look beyond blame and punishment toward accountability, repair, and the possibility of doing things differently.
What does it mean to take responsibility in a kink context? How do we respond to harm without collapsing into defensiveness or exile? And how can repair processes strengthen our dynamics and communities?
