Dornheckensee (Cruising)

The Dornheckensee, a small lake in the woods of Bonn-Ramersdorf near the A59, is the city's best-known outdoor gay cruising area and is long documented in German cruising guides. Activity centres on the surrounding forest paths in the warmer months and on the car park in the evenings, and it is busiest after dark; by day the lake is an ordinary public bathing and nature spot. As with any outdoor cruising location, be discreet and aware of your surroundings. Germany is LGBTQ-friendly, but these are public spaces shared with other visitors.
