Lagerhaus

Lagerhaus is Bremen's best-known alternative cultural centre — a converted warehouse on Schildstraße in Das Viertel that has been a hub of the district's independent, progressive scene for decades. It isn't a gay venue as such, but its calendar reliably folds in queer club nights, LGBTQ+ film screenings and community events, especially around CSD week, which makes it a genuine part of Bremen's wider queer nightlife. The building holds concerts, parties, a café and cultural programming under one roof, and the crowd is young, mixed and open-minded. Come for a specific night rather than on spec — check what's on, and you'll often find a queer or queer-friendly event on the bill.
