About the event
Sexism in simple language - exhibition closing event
We cordially invite you to the closing event of the exhibition "Sexism in simple language".
Women with disabilities and impairments face diverse disadvantages in everyday life. These multiple disadvantages limit their participation in many areas – such as in the world of work, in social life, in politics, culture, or sports. At the same time, women with disabilities are particularly frequently affected by various forms of violence.
Together with the State Commissioner for Disabled Persons and Chairman of the State Participation Council, Arne Frankenstein, we want to create space for exchange and encounters at the event. Guests include women from self-advocacy groups, interest groups, and severely disabled persons' representatives, including Petra Wontorra from "Living Independently".
Date: Monday, September 28, 2026
Time: 4:00 PM–5:30 PM
Location: Faulenstraße 69, vhs im Bamberger, Room 303
Cost: none
After the discussion, we invite you to a casual get-together with drinks and snacks. There will be time for personal conversations, exchange, and encounters.
Registration via vhs Bremen is required to participate.
You will find the link in the invitation attached.
We look forward to your participation and an inspiring exchange together!
