Workshop for LSBTIQ* Persons with Migration and Refugee Experience
"Safety, Identity, Refuge: Perspectives of Queer Migration/Flight" addresses the specific realities of life for LSBTIQ* persons with migration and refugee experience. At the intersection of gender and sexual diversity and migration/flight, queer-migrant persons often face unique challenges: They navigate legal uncertainty, experiences of discrimination, and the understandable search for a place where they can live freely and safely.
In this workshop, we will explore the complexity of these experiences. We will question existing barriers in our societal system and work out what reliable support can look like.
