About this place HappyHappyDingDong

HappyHappyDingDong is a rock'n'roll bar on Brüderweg, the street at the centre of Dortmund's small gay nightlife district. It isn't a gay bar. The music is indie, rock, punk and pop, with karaoke and pub-quiz nights, but its location and relaxed door policy make it a reliably gay-friendly stop on a night out. It's rated about 4.5 from nearly 500 Google reviews and draws a young, mixed crowd. It's busiest at weekends, when it pairs easily with the gay bars a few doors along.

A must-visit – Walk through the door and you immediately feel like you're among friends. 🤘 Laid-back people, cold beer, and music that rocks just right. The service? True Ruhr area style: no small talk, no flattery – but always on the ball. That's exactly how a rock and metal pub should be. I always love coming back! 🍻
