About this place Pink Power e.V.
Pink Power e.V. (also known as "pipodu", Pink Power Duisburg) is one of the city's longest-standing LGBTQ+ community groups, with roots going back more than fifty years in Duisburg's gay self-organisation. Based at Musfeldstraße 161 in the Hochfeld district, it runs self-help groups and a regular open Stammtisch and describes itself as a "second living room" for the community.
It is a volunteer-run association rather than a bar, and a good first point of contact for meeting local people, finding support, or connecting with the city's gay scene. Pink Power also takes part in Duisburg's Christopher Street Day each year.
