A feminist forum for exchange and networking
We are a forum consisting of women (inter, trans, cis) and non-binary people interested in socio-political feminism. It is an association of individuals as well as people from institutions, associations, initiatives, parties, city administration, and activist circles from Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. Thus, we bundle forces and resources, knowledge and expertise. We are diversely composed and, due to our life experiences, bring together different perspectives on issues of equality and state: THE PRIVATE IS STILL POLITICAL!
We want to advance feminist struggles and raise awareness for feminist issues. It is important to us to uncover and break down structures of oppression. We focus on current discourses and topics, which are processed with the help of (external) experts. Thus, we are not only a place for joint learning, but also a place for networking where we jointly take a stand and want to have a lasting impact on the people of Düsseldorf. As a forum, we see ourselves as a lobby for feminist issues and consider it our mission to hold politics and administration accountable in this regard.
