About the event

with Maral Jazdi (she/her) and Jo Knoop (no pronouns)
How can we fulfill the needs for security, connection, and commitment without relying solely on conventional structures like (monogamous) romantic relationships, marriage, and the nuclear family? What role can friends play in this? What are the specific considerations for queer people? What constitutes friendships, what do they mean to different people individually, and why do people choose a friend-centered life? How can we strengthen, expand, value, and make friendships visible?
This workshop is aimed at queer individuals who want to seek answers to these and other questions (which you are welcome to bring along). In addition to short inputs from the facilitators, you can expect diverse methods in individual, small, and large group settings – with a focus on the individual role as a friend, but also in exchange with other participants.
Our wish is that you leave the weekend feeling strengthened, inspired, and full of (new and old) ideas, as well as with new insights and connections to like-minded people – also with the idea of transforming some impulses into everyday life.
Target audience:
This workshop is aimed at all FLINTA and queers who are interested in the topic as individuals.
