About this place Twist
Twist is an LGBTQ+ bar in Alt-Sachsenhausen that reopened in April 2025 at Klappergasse 12, bringing a queer night-life option to the traditional apple-wine quarter south of the Main. It runs a programme of themed and party nights alongside regular bar hours, drawing a young, mixed crowd. As one of the newer additions to Frankfurt's scene, it complements the older cluster of gay venues around Alte Gasse across the river.
