We're two guys from Bavaria who traveled all the way up north just for Iron Maiden. When we decided to grab a bite to eat in the middle of the night after our long train journey, we had no idea what we were in for. Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, and a super friendly bartender (shout-out to Eduard!). The toilets were plastered with gunk from floor to ceiling, but who cares? Great bar!
I was in Hanover for three days, and one evening I spent at Destille. A very charming place with equally charming staff. The prices were very good and the food was excellent.
A beautiful traditional bar, with lots of good beer options. The white beer is delicious and not bitter. The dark beer is good if you like stronger, bitter beer! Great for large groups as well.
