This year, the haecksen Leipzig are also inviting you to their summer haecksen pique-nique at the dezentrale starting at 11 AM on 8/15/26 – for joint brunching, soldering and hacking the patriarchy.
The haecksen are a group of technology-interested FLINTA* individuals who want to make queer-feminist perspectives visible and anchored in the hacker scene.
We are creating a space in Leipzig for all beings who want to discover, share and think about technologies in a queer-feminist context – critically, creatively and collectively.
There will be:
🥐 delicious breakfast buffet
🔒 lock picking session
📣 1:30 PM lecture Caesar Vigenère Solitaire - Cryptography for our bare hands
🏴‍☠️ Afterwards: “Piracy 101” with basics on p2p sharing, BitTorrent, VPN usage & legal issues – incl. Hands-On Workshop: Bring your device (laptop, phone) & set up your own piracy setup!
You don’t need to know anything about coding, soldering or consoles to belong here. Come by, be there – we look forward to it! 💜
