H2 Hotel Mainz

The hotel room was clean, the staff very friendly, and the chef Mohammed was top-notch! Thank you so much! The food was delicious.

Whenever we go to Mainz, we stay here. We've been there three times already. The rooms take some getting used to, as the sinks are usually in the room and not in the bathroom. Highly recommended for overnight stays on short trips. Very quiet, despite being close to the road. The renovated customs harbor and the proximity to the city center (15-minute walk) are particularly great. Very friendly staff.

Our school class stayed at the H2 Hotel in Mainz for three days and, as always, we were extremely satisfied! We're already familiar with the H2 hotel chain from other major cities and can highly recommend it! The price-performance ratio is unbeatable and fair! The staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly! The location is fantastic, right on the old customs port and directly on the Rhine! Thank you for the wonderful and hassle-free stay!

I'm very satisfied with the H2 Hotel. I was here on a school trip, and Ms. Katharina Fischer was very nice and friendly. She helped us a lot and spent a lovely time with us. I hope the manager gives Ms. Fischer a bonus.

Ms. Fischer is the best

The room has the essentials. There's no wardrobe. It can get very noisy in the breakfast room in the mornings. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.

It's a great hotel. It's not noisy at all. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the street, and we couldn't hear a thing. I really liked the open-plan design. There was plenty of space in the four-bed room. Everything was impeccably clean, and the service was friendly. Two things that could be improved, but which certainly wouldn't have warranted a lower rating: The breakfast was fresh and always plentiful. However, a little more variety instead of the usual fare would have been nice. Lastly: The bike storage room was small; to avoid blocking the walkways, it only had space for six bikes. On the day we were there, with mixed weather, there were almost 30 bikes. Perhaps they should think a little bigger (even though there are bike racks outside on the street). We had a wonderful stay.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel made a good impression, the staff was friendly, and we liked the location and the amenities. Unfortunately, however, there were a few issues that significantly detracted from the overall experience. The air conditioning was switched off, which was particularly unpleasant given the temperatures. Furthermore, our room wasn't cleaned even after three nights. We had to collect fresh towels and toilet paper ourselves from reception. It's a shame, because apart from these points, everything was fine. With better housekeeping and a working air conditioner, the stay would have been almost perfect.

Simply wonderful. A fantastic room with a room key card and a working touchscreen! Breakfast is simply delicious… A wide variety of side dishes, bread, drinks, and plenty of muesli options. Gluten-free rolls were also available. The staff is incredibly friendly and understanding about EVERYTHING! They're available 24/7, and you can check in or out anytime. A lovely walk along the harbor. It was also great that there was a bike rental station right outside. Simply a wonderful stay at the H2 Hotel Mainz.
