I booked a standard double room through my credit card company and was given a room with 4 bunk beds. The staff at the hotel was unsympathetic and was unable to accommodate the issue. Upon returning hours later after getting it sorted with the credit card company the new person had no knowledge of the issue that considerable time was spent on (I spoke to the front desk and the credit card company did). They proceeded to charge almost the daily parking rate for several hours despite us having some reservations booked during the time the issue was being sorted. They had a lack of sympathy and knowledge about the situation and this resulted in me wasting hours of my vacation. I’d recommend booking elsewhere as the service was lackluster.

I liked that the train station, the city center, and the embankment were all within easy walking distance. There's a supermarket next to the hotel. The interior is clean, neat, and welcoming. The price is great!

Good hotel near the Rhine River. Neat and clean. Good beds. We managed well in a wheelchair. The downside was that the restaurant did not offer gluten-free food in the evening, even though we had informed them in advance.

Nice hotel, friendly people, good location near the Rhine and not far from the old town. One point deducted because the otherwise reliable buses don't start running until 8:30 a.m. on weekends. Really inconvenient for public transport users.

Good value for money. Lovely atmosphere with attention to detail. Very good Wi-Fi for working in the room. Not everyone at reception was attentive and courteous. Overall, however, the service was good. Breakfast was fairly standard for the category.

The hotel's location is excellent, situated in the modern port area (Zollhafen) of Mainz. Access by car is convenient, and the building looks brand new and modern from the outside, creating a clean and urban atmosphere from the moment you approach the entrance. We arrived quite late at night and only used it as a quick one-night stopover during our road trip, but the experience was excellent. The evening check-in process was very efficient, and the reception staff were very polite and helpful. The entire complex is remarkably spotless and clean. The quadruple rooms with bunk beds are fantastic; the space is brilliantly optimized, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the modern design is very convenient if you're traveling with family or friends. In my opinion, for a quick stopover or a brief visit to the city, this hotel is a perfect choice. It delivers exactly what it promises with an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and comfort, making it a highly recommended option and a very practical stop on your road trip through Germany.
