We wanted to spend a few nice days in Mainz and chose this hotel. All the staff were friendly. At least at first glance, when we entered the hotel. Everything looked clean. What deeply shocked me, however, was how an elderly woman treated a staff member with, in my opinion, such disrespect… You simply don't treat other people like that. My companion then told me that this elderly woman had previously worked at the airport and had always been terrible to employees. She also apparently complained that a staff member wanted to attend his mother's funeral, and she had gotten upset about it because the hotel was busy and he couldn't just go. I find it a shame that such a bad person works in the hospitality industry. The way she treated the staff member while we were there just shows that she hasn't changed. I will avoid this hotel in the future. To the hotel team: You are fantastic! Please don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Fantastic experience! Excellent service, the air conditioning is nice and cold in the summer. It's tucked away, close to the Schillerplatz. I wish I found out about this let gem of a place sooner. A true Oasis in Mainz!
