CSD Mainz – Sommerschwüle

CSD Mainz is the city's Christopher Street Day, staged since 1993 by Schwuguntia e.V. as the highlight of its "Sommerschwüle" queer summer festival. The demonstration and parade start at Fischtorplatz, pass Gutenbergplatz with a rally at the Staatstheater, and finish at the Malakoff-Terrassen on the Rhine, followed by a street festival and parties. It is one of Rhineland-Palatinate's largest Pride events, drawing well over 10,000 people.
