Hotel Restaurant Memo

Small, simple, super clean, and very welcoming. Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for the price, and the location next to the Capitol and the old fire station, both concert venues, is fantastic. :) If you don't need anything fancy, this is the place for a great price. 😄

This is our first time here, and we'll definitely come back if we're ever in the area again. The rooms are clean and comfortable, as long as you're not expecting a designer hotel. The friendly service and welcoming atmosphere are simply fantastic! The food in the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. Again, very warm and friendly service!

Only the hotel is being reviewed, not the restaurant! I was in Mannheim for business, and since my usual hotel was fully booked, I chose the Memo. It's located directly on the main street, and a driveway leads to the parking spaces in the courtyard. I received a very friendly welcome at reception and was given the key. There's no elevator; the rooms are on the first and second floors, so access isn't wheelchair accessible. The restaurant and reception are also only accessible via steps. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. Room 201 is on the second floor and faces the back of the building. The room contains a large bed, a bedside table with integrated lighting, a wardrobe, a table, a chair, a refrigerator, a 42-inch TV, a Vodafone box, and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, hand towel, bath towel, and bath mat. There's no safe in the room. There's an unfurnished balcony with no great view. Breakfast is very good and can be added on-site. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the ambiance is pleasant. The owner is very friendly, and the hotel is clean. Payment can be made in cash or by card. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily. The room is very quiet.

My son was thrilled, and all his special requests (cheese spaetzle for breakfast, ice cream) were fulfilled. The owners gave us a friendly and warm welcome. The service was excellent.

A relaxed and friendly hotel, and best of all: they still have smoking rooms!! Small but perfectly formed, with parking in the back and a restaurant! Would gladly stay again anytime!

The hotel is located right in the city center. Everything is easily accessible on foot. The reception was very friendly. Parking is available for those arriving by car (we appreciated the parking in the courtyard). The rooms are nicely furnished and include a refrigerator. We can recommend this hotel for a short break.

We've been regular customers at Memo for a long time; the owners themselves are there for their customers. Their friendliness is unbeatable, they're truly wonderful people. The food and drinks are delicious. The coffee and homemade cake are simply unbeatable. The prices are more than fair. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace in the summer. We love coming here.
