Great location. Very close to Munster Central Station. A couple of minutes walk to old town centre. Clean rooms, quiet rooms, dark rooms. All good for a restful sleep. Lots of food options near by. Manager very friendly. Highly recommend.

Looking for a basic hotel for a metal festival in June, I came across this one. Spend more money. If you're unlucky, you'll end up sleeping next to the engine room, the elevator room. Offering rooms like that is an outrage. Don't support hotels with such awful rooms where the owners would never stay themselves. 0/10

The hotel is really outdated; several things in the room were broken: the boiler was leaking, the blind was broken and couldn't be moved. And there were still belongings left in the room by the person before me.

The family-run Hotel Windthorst in Münster truly impressed us. It's immediately apparent that Mr. Wedmann is incredibly passionate about his work. He always goes the extra mile to ensure his guests feel completely at ease and receive the best possible service. His friendly and helpful nature is particularly noteworthy. He takes the time to listen to his guests, offers fantastic tips for exploring Münster, and recommends excellent restaurants, attractions, and activities in the city. You don't just feel like a guest, but genuinely welcome. Thank you for the very pleasant experience with Mr. Wedmann. We wish him and the hotel continued success! 🍀 ☀️

The Hotel Windthorst is an absolute disaster. Sleeping here is practically impossible. From 6:30 a.m. onwards, the elevator roars through the entire building every 15 minutes – and this continues for hours until about 10:00 a.m. It's unbelievable that they even rent out rooms like this. In addition, the cleaning staff shout loudly through the hallways in the mornings, making any kind of rest impossible. The furnishings are falling apart, the showers are moldy, and the water barely gets warm. Apparently, there's only a tiny, completely inadequate water heater. Overall, it's loud, run-down, and absolutely not recommended.
