The owner and staff made my milestone birthday celebration a truly memorable experience. They were extremely attentive and meticulous in their service. The food was excellent, and the staff was exceptionally dedicated. The rooms were first-class, comparable to a 4-star hotel, and appeared to have been recently renovated, featuring comfortable beds, a sofa, a recliner, and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was good, and the view was beautiful.

A wonderful spot with a beautiful view of the landscape surrounding the Hainich National Park. The restaurant offers homemade cakes and pastries, ice cream, and other treats, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Mrs. Rettelbusch and her team prepare the delicious food fresh and serve it with great care. Of course, you can linger a little longer on the lovely sun terrace or in the conservatory. We've stayed there both as private individuals and with a tour bus (40 people). Mrs. Rettelbusch showed our bus group the rediscovered "Klingbrunnen" spring, which is 65 meters deep – a truly amazing experience! We were allowed to tour some of the guest rooms – simply stunning! The location and the house are perfect for young and old, hikers and those who simply want to enjoy themselves. Hainich Haus – go and visit! 👍

We only stopped by for coffee and enjoyed the wonderful view from the terrace. The cake (poppy seed and pistachio torte) was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly. The cake buffet was self-service. Friends of ours also felt very comfortable at the hotel.

Hainich 🏕🪵Dear friends of the forest, two years ago I enjoyed several visits to Germany's last, largest unmanaged deciduous/beech forest: the Hainich in Thuringia. I wish you much joy and look forward to your feedback. Feel free to contact me with any tips 🦔🌲 #Hainich #kammerforst A thousand thanks to @arianerettelbusch and team for the unique hospitality!
