Apollo Sauna

Yesterday I visited your establishment for the first time. It's a nice place to relax and unwind in every respect. Top-notch facilities, friendly staff, etc. I didn't use the bar, so I can't comment on that. Everything was great when I asked, and I was always served politely. Unfortunately, not everything that glitters is gold. The supposedly French toilet with bidet function is just a regular toilet with the option of using the bidet attachment available at the counter. A proper French toilet, as described on your website, would have been preferable. The real catch, however, only becomes apparent now. To use this toilet with the bidet and sink, you need a separate key, which you can get at the counter, but only by handing over your locker key (wristband) along with everything else you own. This left a very strange aftertaste and led to a rude awakening at the end of my visit. My cell phone, which had been in the locker in the left, locked jacket pocket since my visit to the facility, was GONE!!!! However, after inquiring at the counter, I ACTUALLY got my phone back, which was supposedly unlocked in locker 19 on the ground floor. My locker number was 83 on the first floor. This was definitely not right, as it's a completely different room and even one floor below. The reason for this remains a mystery. There is, however, one positive experience worth mentioning. Before going into the sauna, I, like hopefully everyone else, use the shower facilities, which are numerous and nicely furnished. However, the number of hooks for towels (on that particular day) was insufficient, which easily led to mix-ups, as happened to me! My own towel was 2m x 70cm and therefore stood out, minimizing the risk of confusion. Unfortunately, that didn't stop the gentleman, whom I didn't see while I was showering, from stealing my towel after 10 minutes in the facility, as there wasn't another one there. BUT, you wouldn't believe it, and I was truly surprised. That counter is like a treasure chest. First, I received a complimentary in-house towel for my stay, and at the end of the day, at the exit, I actually got MY freshly laundered towel back. I was stunned. And then the gentleman at the counter even asked if I had lost anything else. My phone, my towel... Everyone can draw their own conclusions.

The sauna is very clean and well-maintained. The only drawbacks are minor. ;-) The drink and entrance prices are about 30% higher than in other saunas. And the sauna, shower, and steam room area was extremely slippery. When I mentioned this, the only response was: "That's why there are signs, and we dry it every hour."

Hello, Just a quick comment that might seem insignificant, but is important to me: You used to have adjustable loungers, even upstairs in the outdoor area. The current ones are very uncomfortable (not just for me). You can't really sit or lie down, and they're especially uncomfortable for your back (I'm sure not everyone feels the same, but I asked the person sitting next to me, and they agreed). I'm generally not a sauna-goer, but now I go even less because I'd really like to go there to relax. I've already spoken to one of the owners: "Never again anything adjustable." What a shame. Great, friendly, and helpful staff. Hygiene is a top priority here! Everything is spotlessly clean. One minor drawback that really needs addressing: the whirlpool is too cold.

Dear Achilleus Sauna Team, Safety concern regarding a Guest I meet in achilleus Spa Last Wednesday (March 4, 2026) I visited Achilleus Sauna for the first time. I would first like to say that I was very impressed with the facility. The sauna was very clean, the bar area was nice, and overall I had a good impression of the place. Even though I live in Munich, I was considering visiting again in the future. However, I had an uncomfortable and concerning experience with another guest that is now making me worried about my safety if I return. While I was in the cruising area downstairs, a man approached me and stood next to me. Later I went upstairs and lay down near the bar area, and he followed me there. We ended up having a normal conversation for around 45 minutes and eventually exchanged Telegram contacts. I did not express romantic or sexual interest in him; it was simply a friendly conversation. After my visit, he started messaging me on Telegram and expressed that he was interested in meeting. I replied politely and suggested that maybe we could meet for a drink or food sometime. However, after only two days he became very demanding about why I was not replying to his messages immediately. Because of this behavior, I told him that I no longer felt comfortable meeting him. After that, he sent me a long message insulting me and calling me a narcissist, among other things. More concerningly, he also threatened that if he saw me again in public or in the sauna he would loudly humiliate me in front of other people. His exact message in German was: “Sollte ich dich irgendwo sehen oder treffen, dann sage ich dir persönlich laut ins Gesicht, was du für eine schlechte Person bist, nämlich der Teufel in Menschengestalt und Wolf im Schafspelz.” Because of this message, I am now concerned about returning to the sauna and possibly encountering him again. I wanted to inform you about this situation in case it is relevant for guest safety. I have screenshots of the conversation and also the photo he sent me, which I can provide if necessary. I really liked the sauna and would like to visit again in the future, but I wanted to raise this concern first. Kind regards,

An excellent place — quality, service, locations, concept, and activities are all outstanding. The price may be a bit high, but it’s justified by the level of service you receive. I went on a Sunday and had a great time. Beyond the relaxation and recreation areas, there are infusion sessions, and they regularly offer small complimentary treats, such as ice cream or fresh juice. I definitely recommend going — if you’re passing through Nuremberg, this is an experience you shouldn’t miss.

• Nice and clean with a chill atmosphere • The clientele is somewhat mixed > it depends on the day and the event • A large sauna, a steam room, a rooftop terrace, and a whirlpool • The bartenders are great and quick to take care of any requests • Condoms and similar items are available at the bar • Prices are okay for the quality, which deters some of the weirdos • There are enough cabins, 2 play areas, and 2 slings • The music used to be better > the current playlists are boring • The whirlpool is too cold • There aren't enough loungers > one (relaxation) area is equipped with tiled surfaces instead of loungers, which is a waste of space because they're usually unused

First and almost certainly last time here. On the plus side: easily accessible by public transport, modern, and clean. But that's about it. The sauna is very small – which would be okay if the price and quality matched. They don't. Entry, drinks, and food are definitely on the high side (€18.50), but the facilities themselves aren't. Sex education also seems to be well hidden: no condoms in sight, and the shower is more of a treasure hunt. For a place where there's a lot of close physical contact, it feels surprisingly outdated. The biggest drawback, however, is some of the other guests. I don't want to generalize, but a significant number of the men, aged 45-60, apparently thought it was normal to be constantly on my backside. The only "safe" places were the toilets, the changing rooms, or the bar. That's not what relaxation feels like. Wellness shouldn't be a state of siege. With this feeling, I'm not planning on visiting again.

Pretty good sauna. The staff is friendly. The steam room is the most impressive steam room I have been in. It is huge and kept clean and also adequately lit. The facility has everything you need in a sauna. Definitely recommend if you’re in town.
