What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the Hotel Victoria's excellent location, convenient for both train travel and exploring the city, along with its clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a very good breakfast. Some guests found the hotel a bit expensive for its limited facilities and noted that staff engagement could be improved, while others found the rooms compact and mentioned the lack of in-room tea and coffee making facilities.

About this place Hotel Victoria

Hotel Victoria on the Königstraße benefits from the same central location that makes Mardi Gras bar, a few numbers away on the same street, the most visible gay venue in Nuremberg. The four-star property is gay-friendly and has an LGBTQ+ clientele during CSD Nuremberg in July, when around 25,000 attendees gather for one of Bavaria's most significant Pride events. The medieval Altstadt setting gives a Nuremberg hotel stay a visual drama that purpose-built business hotels cannot provide. For visitors attending CSD or exploring the gay scene, the Königstraße location puts the main gay venues within walking distance and the entire Altstadt on the doorstep.

A fantastic breakfast, great location, friendly staff and a clean, bright room with a spacious bathroom.

Attentive service, both at reception and at the breakfast buffet. A generous and fresh breakfast buffet. Great location right next to the city wall. Short walk to the city center.

I highly recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a budget-friendly three- or four-star accommodation. Great location in Old Town. The room rate was reasonable, and the room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet had limited options, but that's understandable for a smaller hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Quiet, very well-maintained, highly competent and helpful staff, and a world-class breakfast buffet – small but excellent.

We felt very comfortable at this hotel. We arrived a little earlier than our booked room (it was originally stated that the room wouldn't be ready until 3:00 PM), but we were still allowed to check in and move into the room early. The staff at reception were always friendly, explained everything to us, and were always helpful. The hotel's interior looks much more modern than it appears from the outside. Our room was spacious, and the soundproof windows lived up to their promise. Even though our room faced the main road, it was absolutely quiet as soon as we closed the windows. Since it was warm (we traveled in September 2025), we were more than happy to have a well-functioning air conditioner. The bed was also very comfortable. The room also had a built-in wardrobe (with plenty of space), a sofa with a table, and a desk that also housed the minibar. We received a bottle of water in our room, which we could refill as often as we liked at reception (which was staffed 24/7). The breakfast room was also spacious. My only complaint is that on our first morning, we (two people) were seated at a table group consisting of three tables for two people, quite close together. I felt quite uncomfortable there, as I don't like sitting so close to strangers. However, this was rectified the very next day. There was a buffet that covered everything one could need: cold cuts, cheese, fresh vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers, juices, jams, and various types of bread. Of course, there was also muesli and the like. Coffee and egg dishes could be ordered from the lady who "supervised" the breakfast room. The only thing I can complain about at breakfast is that there were two different chocolate spreads (neither of which was Nutella), and unfortunately, neither of them tasted good (to my taste), but otherwise, there's really nothing to complain about. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Nuremberg.
