Hotel & Restaurant Eisenberger Hof

Breakfast had been prepaid along with our stay, and at our request, we paid the day before to simplify check-out. We were not informed about breakfast hours at check-in. We assumed that breakfast—like check-out—was available until 11:00 a.m., but in fact, it was only available until 10:00 a.m. When we arrived at 9:59 a.m., there was hardly any selection left, so we could only have a coffee and a roll. In our opinion, the buffet had already been largely cleared away, so we couldn't enjoy breakfast as planned. While it's difficult to give a final assessment since there was hardly anything left, this did not meet our expectations for breakfast. After contacting the hotel, unfortunately, no responsibility was taken, and the situation was entirely blamed on us. A real shame. Furthermore, the bed wasn't particularly comfortable for my taste and made a lot of noise when I moved. On the positive side, the hotel's beautiful location, the parking facilities, and the view from the balcony were definite highlights.

Highly recommended! The staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms are well-equipped, and the dinner and breakfast buffets leave little to be desired. Dogs are warmly welcomed, which is rare, even in hotels that allow dogs. We will definitely be back!

What a small but lovely hotel in a quiet location! The staff is hardworking and conscientious, doing a fantastic job and always attentive to guests' needs. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and freshly prepared daily. The restaurant menu is amazing and incredibly delicious 😋 The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. A very nice little hotel just outside Moritzburg. It was clean and the staff very friendly. The restaurant definitely has room for improvement. The quality of the food was rather mediocre; for the prices charged, one would expect better.

The staff reacted very rudely when I mentioned my food intolerances. I asked the waiter if the salad dressing contained milk, and he sharply replied "no." But then he brought the salad without dressing and said, "Here, one salad plain." How can anyone treat their customers like that? We will never come here again.

Double room with bathroom and balcony, cozy and clean. TV and internet access available. Nice, comfortable hotel with free parking. Friendly staff! The shower entry is a bit high, the toilet a bit low. The breakfast buffet is varied and well-stocked. The hotel's location is excellent; you can explore everything in Moritzburg on foot. Many attractions are also within easy reach by car.

I only want to review the service and the restaurant here. We wanted to visit the castle with the Cinderella exhibition and explore the surrounding area, and had booked three rooms here. At check-in, it turned out we had made a mistake with the dates during booking, and the hotel was fully booked. However, this didn't dampen our spirits, as the friendly receptionist immediately picked up the phone and called all the hotels in the area to find accommodation for the six of us. She was able to find us a room in Meissen (17 km away). We were allowed to leave the car and then walked to the castle. Afterwards, we accepted the invitation to the restaurant and had a very good meal, which turned out to be a real advantage, as EVERY restaurant around the Dorint Hotel in Meissen was fully booked that evening, which surprised us – well, it was Valentine's Day and everyone in Meissen was in love, it seems ;-) Many thanks again to the lady at reception who unfortunately left later, so we couldn't thank her personally.
