Athens Tiare Hotel

So much noise in the hotel that it was impossible to sleep. We had a room facing the courtyard, but the muffled noises from outside, like the air conditioning or the condenser, were very noticeable in the room. We were moved to a different room, still on the same side but lower down, which was a little better. But then came the noise from the mini-fridge, showers, and running water in the other rooms, followed by the neighbors' music and TV, which continued until 1:40 a.m. If you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise, the room was quite large and clean, and the staff was welcoming and very helpful. No complaints there. Very well located, close to everything, about a 15-minute walk from the food areas and the city center.

Great hotel! Right by the train station and a water fountain. Loved the room, great breakfast and great service. Highly recommend.

The room is large and spacious, but the shower leaked and flooded the bathtub. The door to the balcony does not open in a way that allows passage, so if you want to hang swimsuits to dry, for example, you have to improvise and the view sucks. The square at night is a bit scary. We were with a lot of other people, so we weren't afraid.. Reasonable breakfast.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable, and the hotel was of a good standard. Unfortunately the area around the hotel did not live up to expectations – especially in the evenings it felt noisy and less pleasant. Given the price, there are several better options in Athens with both better location and better overall experience. If location is not important to you, the hotel may work, but I would personally choose a different hotel next time.

Amazing customer service and beyond the staff were very friendly helpful for vasilis and Ioanna even after check out they were a great help all the way till we reached the airport back to our beloved country we thanks you so so much we will definitely come back and recommend you to all our friends and family with your great service, hospitality and kindest thank you so much from all the Nicolas family

the hotel my itself was very beautiful and clean. the doormen and bartenders were very friendly and it was a quality hotel given the downtown location. but unfortunately i had two items go missing from my luggage on two separate days and when i complained to the staff, they said they’d look into it and update me. later they told my tour guide that they had a manager talk to me, even though no one had talked to me. when i corrected that they said they would try to send the manager again, once again i heard nothing back. after i had already checked out the hotel, that’s then the tour guide texted me that the hotel said “none of the housekeepers saw anything” and that i couldn’t prove anything was taken. for the looks of the hotel, it’s terrible that their service did not match.
