Sanpiero Island Guesthouse

Me and my boyfriend found the Sanpiero very last minute after a disaster with TUI cancelling our flight and putting us in a terrible hotel. We were exhausted, anxious, and frantically looking for somewhere else to stay when I came across this gem – and it turned out to be one of the best places we’ve stayed in for a long time. Within seconds of booking, I received a message from Mary, the most welcoming and kind manager. She even phoned me straight away, explained she was with another client, and asked us to wait at reception. From the moment we arrived, Mary could see how distressed we were and kindly let us go straight to the room to settle before coming back down to check in. She then offered us complimentary drinks, which instantly lifted our spirits after such a stressful day. She was always smiling, reassuring, and genuinely cared about making us feel comfortable. The room itself was spotless, with such lovely attention to detail. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and breakfast (included in our stay) was both delicious and filling – perfect as we had an early flight. When our nightmare continued the next day with a 10-hour flight delay, I messaged Mary in a panic. She reassured us right away, letting us know there was availability if we needed another room. Without hesitation, we rebooked just to have somewhere safe and comfortable to wait. When we returned, Mary greeted us warmly again with a smile and a “welcome back!” – which honestly meant so much after all the stress we’d been through. We made the most of our unexpected extra day by having lunch at the Sanpiero restaurant (gorgeous food!) and relaxing on the beach with sunbeds available at such a small cost. It was the perfect way to turn a difficult situation into something positive. Mary even told us that if our flight was cancelled again, we could stay until check out the following day. I cannot thank Mary and the team at Sanpiero enough. What could have been a complete nightmare was turned into a reassuring, comfortable, and even enjoyable experience because of their hospitality. The Sanpiero is truly a hidden gem, and we would love to return in the future.

I stayed here in April with a friend as this place is phenomenal! A beautiful stay, with amazing hosts. We has some issues with out hot water and silly us booked on Easter weekend, therefore everything was closed, and the hosts were celebrating the christan holiday, but still helped us with our needs. We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The welcome was generally pleasant and the staff friendly, with a very nice view from the restaurant. However, we were quite disappointed with the room: significant noise, an unpleasant smell due to dampness, and cleanliness that left much to be desired upon our arrival. For a stay costing €800, we expected a higher level of comfort. Despite our complaints during our stay, no compensation was offered, which is regrettable and leaves a mixed impression.

Mary was the receptionist and she gave us a very warm welcome. She took care of us quickly and the rooms were beautiful 🤩

Our stay at Sanpiero Island Resort in Zante was exceptional. Mary, the manager, stood out for her professionalism and kindness, always ready to help in a warm yet discreet way. Her care ensured every detail of our holiday was seamless. The resort’s location is breathtaking, with sweeping views of the Ionian Sea, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Dining at the restaurant was a delight – every dish was perfectly cooked and full of authentic flavour, while the romantic sea view created a magical atmosphere. Yannis provided impeccable dinner service, attentive without ever being intrusive. We left with wonderful memories and would recommend Sanpiero Island Resort to anyone visiting Zante – and we owe much of that to Mary’s exceptional care.

The room was very clean, and Mary was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always helpful! You could text her day and night. She even told us a bit about the island at check-in. The cleaning lady was also very polite and nice! Although the room was near a nightlife area, we didn't hear a thing from the nighttime activities. Highly recommended!

It was good hotel for vacation. We were happy to stay there. The room was good, the cleaning was also good. Maria was really friendly and helpful. She is very professional manager. Thank you Sanpiero Hotel for our vacation.

Great value for money. Our room looked exactly like the pictures, stylishly decorated and clean. The staff was very nice, especially Mary, who was at our disposal from the first minute. The guesthouse's great location is also worth mentioning, 1 minute walk from the beach and the restaurant where breakfast is served with a beautiful view of the sea. The quality of the food served in the restaurant is worth mentioning, we had lunch there several times during our week-long vacation and were very satisfied. I can only recommend it.

The guesthouse was very pretty. Mary and the stuff made our holidays so much easier. They were really helpful and we could ask them anything at any time.

Wonderful, nice, clean & comfortable room. Great breakfast at their Restaurant with a fantastic view, beach side tables and sun-beds. Super kind & helpful stuff, especially Mary supported us during our whole stay with everything and beyond!
