Samarina Resort

We stayed at your hotel for three days with our children and, unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the first moment we felt unwelcome, as the owner said to us in person: “Don’t you have parents to leave the children with?” We consider such behavior to be unacceptable. If the hotel does not accept children under a certain age, this should be clearly stated on the website. In general, we did not experience any welcoming attitude at all. The behavior we received was ironic and cold, which made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay. Regarding cleanliness, the room was in a very bad condition. I have never stayed in such a dirty place. From the first moment we entered the room, the floor was covered in garbage and the carpets were covered in dust! We also found spider webs on the ceiling, of course! Unfortunately I did not take any photos to document what I am saying, although I am sure that there will be a dispute, from the owner herself, Mrs. Tonia, as happens in the answers given only to negative comments. But let's call things by their name! Let's accept both the negative and the positive! I am truly sorry for our experience, but I consider it my obligation to share it, so that other families know what to expect. Obviously, I do not recommend this particular hotel even for one night!!!!

We stayed at La Noi for a weekend, going there to have a good time. But that wasn't all that happened. When we arrived with our 2 children, we wanted to grab a snack that we had with us, but we received an ironic response (from the owner) "will you take out the tripe too"? The room was not very clean, seeing spiders and dust, the bed didn't even have a rubber undersheet and there was just a sheet spread. The baby's playpen had some folded sheets as a mattress and the duvet that was supposed to cover it was without a case and dirty. Very expensive and unreliable. I would never choose it again.

Beautiful accommodation with very warm people! The lobby is beautiful, traditional with a fireplace that burns all the time, sofas and warm carpets on the floors. The breakfast is traditional with delicious flavors and a wide variety. Our room had a huge window with a view of the snowy mountain. I highly recommend it and of course I will go to Samarina again to enjoy the tranquility and warmth of this guesthouse!

Our stay at La Noi in Samarina was not good. The room was not clean enough. The floor even had small stones, while the walls had obvious marks, giving an image of lack of care. In the lobby, where we sat for coffee (three families with small children), we waited a long time to be served, as there was no proper organization. It is true that the children ran away a little at one point due to their age, but we were constantly behind them and did not leave them unattended. Nevertheless, remarks were made and, when we wanted to give them a snack, we were asked to go to the rooms. In fact, a comment was made to a girl in the press group that “don’t the children have grandmothers?”, implying that we should have left them behind. We considered it inappropriate and unprofessional. The soundproofing was very poor — an alarm clock went off in another room and woke us up. Finally, the renovation seems superficial, with areas that were never painted and visible marks on the walls. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations and we would not choose it again.

Amazing!!! Wonderful view!!!

In our experience at this particular accommodation, if there were 15 stars, we would give it. First of all, we are talking about a family business, which means that everything is made with care and love. We experienced it in all its aspects as a family with a 5-year-old who happened to get sick. Tonia was prompt and extremely helpful in offering us everything we needed for the little one (thermometers, chamomile, antipyretics). Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early, but we will definitely return with a larger group. The very positives were the view of the room, the very comfortable beds and the fantastic breakfast. If her mother's rice pudding were in a competition, it would easily win first place. The best!

A hostel as one would expect in Samarina.

Very nice hotel, beautiful clean rooms with a very nice view...the breakfast was perfect, thank you very much ❤️
