Nuuk Pride

Nuuk Pride is Greenland's Pride, held in the capital every June since 2010, when Inuk activist Nuka Bisgaard organised the first one. About 1,000 people joined that first parade, in a town of under 20,000.

It runs as a short festival that mixes politics with concerts and films. The Katuaq culture centre in the city centre is the hub and the parade's meeting point, and the parade closes the programme.

The last edition we could confirm was on Saturday 28 June 2025. We found no published programme for 2026, and the 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked; Greenlandic outlets such as KNR and Sermitsiaq are the places to watch in spring.
