Four Seasons Gresham Palace

An outstanding luxury hotel experience in the heart of Budapest. Everything from the moment we arrived felt first-class, with exceptional service, beautiful interiors, and incredible attention to detail. The building itself is stunning, combining historic elegance with modern luxury, and the views overlooking the Danube and the Chain Bridge are absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and extremely comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel feels refined, peaceful, and truly five-star. The location is perfect for exploring Budapest, with many of the city’s main attractions within walking distance. While it is a luxury hotel, the overall experience fully justifies it. Without a doubt one of the finest hotels in Budapest and one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for elegance, comfort, and world-class service.

The Gresham Palace is a significant Art Nouveau building located in Széchenyi Square. Its construction dates from 1904/1906 and was a project by architects Zsigmond Quittner and József Vágo for the British company Gresham Life Assurance Company, as a tribute to Sir Thomas Gresham, founder of the Royal Exchange in the 16th century. After the Second World War, the building fell into decline, but it was restored in the early 21st century, preserving its original architecture and decoration. It is currently occupied by the Four Seasons Hotel, a landmark of Budapest.
