Very nicely renovated old mill. Tastefully decorated rooms.

There are no problems with the room or the restaurant, I have stayed in the hotel several times for work. So far everything was fine, now it is a bit annoying that the air conditioning in the room does not work. So four stars is a bit of an exaggeration. The staff is kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant is large and delicious. The servers are kind and helpful.

I was personally a little disappointed.

Our family – 2 adults and 2 children – stayed in room 42, which is on the top floor, so it was particularly hot. During the booking and in the description of the services, it was clearly stated that the accommodation had air conditioning. However, upon arrival, we found out that the air conditioning was not working at all, as it was broken. To make matters worse, the water supply was also interrupted several times, and for a few minutes the water was completely gone, which caused us considerable inconvenience.

The Malom Hotel in Debrecen is an exceptionally beautiful hotel with a great deal of style and individual character. The building's historical charm is wonderfully evident. The rooms are very spacious and extremely tastefully furnished, making you feel instantly at home. Although the hotel is located on a main road, the rooms are absolutely quiet thanks to the top-quality windows, ensuring you hear nothing from outside. The breakfast was also excellent, offering a fine selection for a perfect start to the day. The only real drawback was the minibar in the room, which was far too noisy, and we eventually had to unplug it to be able to sleep undisturbed. If this minor technical issue were resolved, the stay would be absolutely perfect. We highly recommend this stylish accommodation in Debrecen to everyone.

A very unique hotel, converted from a mill, a hotel with a lot of history.

Very comfortable, clean hotel. Very kind staff. Tasteful, cozy design. Very delicious food in the restaurant. It was a good choice, we would love to come again. I recommend it to everyone with a calm heart! 👍

Street-front rooms are very noisy at night, otherwise very nice and sophisticated

It's one thing to have a soap opera in the hotel. But waking up at 8:00 a.m. and feeling like you're being bombed should be mentioned, or written somewhere to say not to book here.

We spent two wonderful days here, from Good Friday 2026. The room was very pleasant, the hotel and restaurant staff were extremely helpful and invisible The breakfast buffet satisfies all needs. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We traveled by train, using city transport, but everything is within 20 minutes on foot. Downtown, Nagyerdő, spa, train station.
