The breakfast lacked vegetables and there was only one type of bread. The dinner was plentiful. We didn't try the wellness. I saw a small pool.
The hotel is old and half of the things in it are not functional. One older gentleman does all the work in the hotel, prepares food, works at the reception, serves meals and is extremely unpleasant and rude. The meals are extremely bad, portions are small. We were there for three days, the first day we only got salami for breakfast, the second day only hot dogs and the third day only eggs and nothing else. Very bad experience and I do not recommend coming here.
Upon entering the guesthouse, the reception is located in the old wing. At first, the classic apartment in the “retro-community” style is a bit surprising, where the wellness area is also located. The latter is quite weak, but it is still suitable for a little splashing or sauna. The restaurant is also in this building, but more on that later. The accommodation part (the newer wing) could be a 5/5, it is obvious that a lot was spent on it at some point. However, the beds are uncomfortable and creaky, unfortunately for me, this is only a 1. I would give 4 out of 5 points for cleanliness. It is sweltering hot inside, so you have to open the window if you want to sleep, but there is no mosquito net, which can be a problem in the summer. Otherwise, the place has its own atmosphere, I have been to much more expensive places and much worse. The terrace is particularly cozy. Because of the thin walls, the privacy of the neighbors can be heard a little, but I think this was the case back and forth. :) Food: The restaurant is located in the old wing, it has a classic style and a good atmosphere. The food is plentiful and delicious, although I missed the dessert. The breakfast is buffet style, always the same selection, but you can live with it. There was one oddity: there were no vegetables for breakfast at all. Summary: Overall, I give it a 5/3, mainly because of the squeaky beds and the thin walls. It is neither cheap nor expensive. The apartment next door costs about 40% more, but it is also much better - next time I will probably book there. Tip: The Ellipsum bath is a 5/4 for me, everything is really great, only the sauna is small and cools down quickly, so I don't think it is worth the 1000 HUF additional ticket. The bath itself is excellent, I recommend it to everyone! Kisses to everyone, Ernő
It was a very pleasant experience to stay at the Hungária Panzió. Julcsi was extremely kind, helpful, and helped us with everything. It's really nice when you receive such an attentive welcome. I can only recommend it!
A very super family-friendly place with delicious food and lovely staff. My mother and I spent a long weekend here, we had a great time, I hope we come back.
