A really nice hotel within walking distance of the train station; the city center of Bologna is on the other side of the station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here when we are in Bologna again.

March 2026: I returned for the third time and still loved it. Stayed 1 night. The room was warm and clean. The bed was comfortable, with a non-sinking mattress. The bathroom was large with a cozy shower and a window. The room opens onto a small balcony with chairs and a table. I thank Silvio at the reception, who was very kind and professional. 7 years ago: Welcoming. Stayed 2 nights. Easy to get to, a 7-minute walk from the station, and a 3-minute bus stop for the city center. The hotel is in a very characteristic internal courtyard. The reception staff was very kind and helpful in providing information to make your stay pleasant. Elevator. The double room was pleasantly furnished. The service was complimentary and relaxing (kettle, tea, coffee). The bathroom was a little small. Everything was very clean. I appreciated the double-glazed windows even though the area is quiet. Near the train station. A 20-minute walk from Bologna city center. The room is small but clean. The air conditioning doesn't work well. The staff is friendly, polite, and attentive. The breakfast is very good, with a wide selection of quality products, and the terrace is shaded.

Artsy, boutique hotel. Colorful, comfortable and alive. Within walking distance of train and attractions. Will not disappoint.

The hotel entrance looks very nice. It's not very close to the center. The room is an awful hovel.

Disappointment after a good Booking.com rating – 4 stars incomprehensible. Summary: We chose this hotel based on its good reviews and 4-star rating, but were massively disappointed. The price-performance ratio (€400 for 3 nights) is completely disproportionate to the service provided. We left early after the first night and switched to another hotel! The main deficiencies in detail: • Room size, bathroom condition & beds: The room under the roof was extremely cramped. It was nearly impossible for two people to move around with suitcases; moreover, there was a lack of storage space. The bathroom had significant deficiencies: The grout in the large area around the shower was moldy (I've attached photos to this review). We also found the bedding unpleasant: It consisted of nothing more than an extremely thin mattress pad with an uncomfortable cover – far from 4-star standard. • No air conditioning at 30 degrees Celsius: Although our room was an attic room with summer temperatures outside, the air conditioning didn't work. When we inquired, we were told it would only be activated centrally for all rooms in June. The standing fan offered as an alternative was unfortunately very dusty, so it blew dust into the room when switched on. • Security/comfort issues: As an alternative to air conditioning, we were advised to leave the balcony door completely open at night. However, since the balconies are interconnected and freely accessible to other guests, this wasn't an option for us due to security and privacy concerns (the door also couldn't be tilted). • Misleading information about parking: The hotel advertised parking spaces during the booking process. However, on arrival, it turned out that the hotel only has an extremely small and completely inadequate number of parking spaces – absolutely insufficient for a hotel of this size. We were left without parking. This should be communicated transparently in advance. As someone who has worked in sales for 25 years and is therefore familiar with many hotels, I seriously question the basis on which this establishment was awarded a 4-star rating. The condition, service, and transparency leave much to be desired. It's a waste of money – under these circumstances, we cannot recommend a stay.

Very friendly staff. A unique hotel, although the rooms are a bit cramped. Overall, everything was good.
