A romantic getaway amidst a busy schedule. The property is located on the third floor of a historic building in the heart of the city center. Stepping inside is like stepping back in time to an upper-middle-class residence, and it perfectly fits the definition of a museum hotel. The location allows you to explore the city center on foot and enjoy one of the many nearby restaurants. There's excellent parking right in front of the hotel on the harbor. The rooms are comfortable, with bathrooms featuring new fixtures and fittings, and well-appointed, although a bit cramped. But considering you're not supposed to skate... Excellent breakfast, sweet and savory, served in a charming lounge overlooking the harbor and Via Roma.

There's nothing wrong with this place. It's best if you ignore the American reviews (they're still looking for a Pizza Hut).

Located on the seafront. Wonderful view. Even though the room overlooked a busy street, no noise disturbed our sleep. The double bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. Spacious and tastefully furnished. Good breakfast (perhaps a little limited in choice). Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The Miramare Hotel in Cagliari is a good base for exploring the city – its central location makes getting around very easy and allows you to walk everywhere. The hotel also has a unique atmosphere, and it's clear that it's mainly a local clientele, which can be a plus for those seeking a more "Italian" experience than a typical tourist experience. The staff is also a major plus – very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the standard of the rooms leaves something to be desired. The room was small, with noticeably poor air circulation – after a shower, moisture lingers inside, making things damp. It's also clear that the room could use a refresh. Breakfast is unlikely to appeal to Polish guests – the selection is limited, the bread is stale and hard, and the lack of hot dishes like scrambled eggs or sausages can be disappointing. In summary, the hotel is primarily a place to sleep in a good location, but those expecting more comfort or a better breakfast might be disappointed.
