Gattopardo House

Our stay at Gattopardo House was very good and it is very convenient to all major shops and buses and metro. Special thanks to Gaetono for being very helpful. The breakfast was also very good with nice pastries, cereal, fruits and coffee and juices.

The hotel is in the city center, it’s a fantastic location that manages to feel incredibly peaceful. It’s within walking distance of most of the major tourist spots. The building itself is stunning, seeming a uniquely styled historic property that has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, and having a small elevator is a big plus. Love the bedside sockets and the AC. The breakfast room is stunning, offering a variety of food options. Thanks to the wonderful staff for making us feel so welcome.

A venerable old location, but one that's seen better days. They advertised free parking – well, it's 900 meters away. They offer a top-notch European breakfast: hard-boiled eggs, mini rolls, croissants, and a plethora of sweet pastries – even three different cakes. A top-of-the-line fully automatic coffee machine. Water and two juices. Awful processed cheese slices instead of real cheese. But they do have cooked ham, mortadella, and salami – of course, NO Parma ham. But you're right in the heart of the old town, in a reasonably pleasant building – on the main promenade.

An amazing experience! A wonderful and atmospheric place! You feel special)) The location is excellent – ​​in the city center, next to the bus stop, and all the sights are within walking distance. Lots of cafes. The room is spacious and very stylish! I had a corner room with two balconies. I felt like a VIP)) There's a kettle and a fridge with water. The bathroom is also large. Breakfast here is a real ritual! You really should "dine" in this room – it's luxurious! The food itself is traditional, but adjusted for the clientele (thank you!) – in addition to delicious pastries and desserts, they have eggs. There are also vegetables (the artichokes are amazing!), some cheese, sausages, tomatoes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, jams, juices, and a good coffee machine. Breakfast runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Checkout is until 10:00 a.m., but you can leave your luggage. The staff is pleasant, unobtrusive, and responsive. Gaetano is a truly gracious host! I arrived in the evening, and without waiting for breakfast, he showed me that very luxurious room. I really want to return to such a place!

We had a wonderful stay in a hotel housed in an elegant building with a historic feel. Our room, decorated in a classic style, was spacious, very comfortable and carefully appointed. The staff who welcomed us and took care of us deserve only words of praise, special, attentive and welcoming people. We hope that this charm of the hotel and the place will be preserved for many years to come. 🥂

The "Gattopardo" impresses with its prime central location, a delicious breakfast, and very friendly staff who also organize airport transfers. The rooms are clean and, despite their proximity to Catania's main promenade, well soundproofed.

Nice rooms. Good breakfasts. And most importantly, right in the center.

The Leopard Cat is a beautiful 200-year-old Sicilian palace. We slept very well, with spectacular views of the Via Etnea, and the receptionist was very pleasant.
