The hotel is rundown, old, dirty, and in a bad area. I highly discourage it. We preferred to leave shortly after arriving rather than sleep there. I wouldn't sleep there even if they gave us the room for free.

It depends on what you need to do. If you need a bed to sleep in and come back at 2-3 am, that's fine. Otherwise, no. We respect the work of others, but where can you improve? The housekeeping is terrible? It depends on which room you get, but the ones facing the square don't let you sleep because of the noise (in fact, it could be improved if the windows were double-glazed or if they could be closed properly, but a bit of strong wind would make them open a bit. We had to put the table and suitcase on top to stop them. Plus, you're in a square where there's a nightclub on the ground floor, so you'd even better fix the windows. The housekeeping here is terrible too, it doesn't take much to improve it. The mattresses are still springy and dirty. The staff tried to solve our problems, but they lack the resources of those who make decisions. The feeling of constant dirt and insecurity from the cardboard interior doors. So, given the price, it's better to move away from the center and, with 2-3 metro stops, stay on Via Etnea. Then, the second floor without an elevator is fine, you know, and that's not the problem. I understand the profit, but those could be improved with a little more. Because in my opinion, I don't know who gave them the 3-star hotel license; the ASP employee should do a check. Furthermore, we were with small children.

The room was dirty and dusty. The shower was dirty with limescale and hair. They sold us a buffet breakfast and instead sent us to a nearby bar for coffee and a croissant.

The service is more then 5 starts. They impressed me. Absolutely kindly, friendly and if I asked something only few minutes and I got the answer. The building is very old. The room was old type and cold but clean. We used air-conditioning to warm it but inside is very high approximately 6m. The bed is comfortable. Location is very good. Only 5 minutes and you are in the centre.
