Capo Gallo Nature Reserve

Capo Gallo is a protected limestone headland between Mondello and Sferracavallo on Palermo's northern coast. Naturism is informally tolerated on the seaward side beyond the lighthouse, reached on foot along the coastal path from the Sferracavallo entrance. Gay men and naturists use it for the seclusion and clear water. It is rocks, not sand. There are no lidos, bars, shade or water, so bring what you need, wear sturdy shoes and take your rubbish with you. Nudity is tolerated rather than officially allowed, so be discreet with families and park rangers around.
