About This Event
Rimini Summer Pride is a seafront Pride on the Adriatic, organised by Arcigay Rimini. It is held in late July, at the height of the beach season, rather than in June, and 2026 was its tenth edition.
The format is an early-evening march followed by a party by the sea. In 2026 people gathered at Piazzale Kennedy from 5pm. The march set off at 6pm, led by a 'train' of rainbow families with floats and music. It went through the Parco del Mare and along lungomare Tintori and reached the Fellini area around 8pm, where speeches and performances went on into the night. The city closes the seafront roads for the day and bans glass containers around the route in the evening. In the week before, Pride Week talks took place at La Community 27, including one marking ten years of civil unions in Italy.
The 2026 edition took place on Saturday 25 July under the slogan 'Stesso orgoglio, stesso mare' (same pride, same sea), and mayor Jamil Sadegholvaad walked in the march. Local press reported thousands of people and called it a record edition, but gave no firm count. The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
